THE TIMES

Television was my family’s main source of news, information and entertainment.  For that reason, much of my free time was spent watching television.   There was a good deal of civil, social and political unrest and upheavel in American society during my early years (1960s).   Many of the historic events and changes that occurred during this time period, I experienced through the watching of television.   I was deeply affected by what I saw.   These times greatly influenced and inspired my life’s journey.
